While universities all over the world are trying to promote research and development,University of Kerala ,the largest and oldest university in Kerala ,has turned it back to researchers.

According to recently amended rules ,only teachers of university departments and affiliated colleges of the university can register for part-time research.It may be noted that in the past people from various walks of life,including MLA's IAS and IPS officers,great luminaries have done part time research in the university.
