Mammooty: The pictures I saw and liked best.

Mammooty is one of the accomplished actors of Kerala. He had bagged many awards In his career.Also he is one of the most popular stars of Kerala. Let me recall his roles in some movies I have seen.

"Harikrishnans" saw Mammooty and Mohanlal both advocates cum detectives trying to help a girl by solving a murder mystery. This is a film in which Mammooty and Mohanlal both act beautifully. I still remember the beautiful song they together had with the heroine.Also both try to captivate the love of the heroine. One another Mohanlal cum Mammooty movie was No.20 Madras Mail.

Megham saw Mammooty as an army officer who loves nobody but himself. Just like the famous sentence by M.T Vasudevan Nair "Sethu always loved only one person,Sethu", Also reminding of the Daveed in old testament, Mammooty is playing his role beautifully. Dileep,also appears the humorous part of Mammooty coming into a village ie enchanting. Sreenivasan also plays a role in this movie.

Hitler was a super hit in which Mammooty played the role of the caring brother who has to look after the younger sisters. Sobhana acting as the heroine, the movie is filled with humors.

Balram Vs Tharadas is a Mammooty film in which the legendary Inspector Balram Character of Mammooty encounters Tharadas the under world king who is also Mammoooty.The double role is handled easily by Mammooty.

"Arayannagalude Veedu" is a family story in which Mammooty plays the role of a rebellious son, who returns after a long time to rescue the family.

Sethurama Iyyer is a famous Mammooty charcter who appears in a series of films, In which Mammooty acts as a CBI officer, who reminds us of Sherlock homes. Four or five films were released in this series.

Mammootty is a class apart. He’s one actor who’s maintained himself even after 25 yrs in the film industry. He’s a very versatile actor, which can be seen in his films like Nirakkottu, Kazcha, Bhootakannadi, Rapagal, Harikrishnans, Dr. Ambedkar, Hitler etc.. to name a few. I personally feel he should stick to roles of his age now. I like him in Thurugulan but I can’t see him go ‘Govinda’ way with red trousers. I like his roles where he’s an ACTOR, not a HERO. I personally like him as a Collector, a police officer and roles so…
