Thrissur

Located on the southern tip of India Kerala is one of the most visited travel destinations and beautiful states of India. Vaikkom Siva temple is located on the eastern shore of Vembanad Lake. The name of Vaikkom become prominent when a Satyagraha campaign was launched in 1924 to throw open temple to the Avarna Hindus to whom they were closed.

Cochin university of science and technology on 19th and 20th December2006 witnessed a hot discussion on the future of IT in kerala.

A young 18 year boy of indian origin has been in a team which won a gold medal in the International Mathematics Olympiad held at Madrid in last July.
The grand father of the boy is a surgeon in MUZAFFARPUR.

Travancore had made a fundamental contribution to Indian art in the work of Raja Ravi Varma. Technically his work was outside the Indian tradition in that his medium was oil colour and his method realistic. He has been criticized by experts in tempera and water colour. But it has to remember that he worked with in the dark century between the break of the Rajput and Mughal schools following the dissolution of Mughal Empire and the revival of Indian painting 15 years after his death.
